Women Fashion in Canada

Fashion is defined as the prevailing style of dress or behavior at any given time, with the strong implication that fashion is characterized by change. And when we talk about fashion women are more specific about fashion and style as compared to men.
Canadian women are mostly interested in fashion with comfort. They just want to be comfortable while carrying themselves fashionably.
According to a survey, more than half of Canadian women under age 45 prefer dressing up more for comfort than style.
Perhaps due to a difference in attitude toward fashion, Canadian women tend to enjoy the clothes shopping process more than American women. They may have a more carefree approach to shopping because of their stronger desire for a casual, comfortable style.
Canadians trend to stick to famous and more commercial names as compared to Americans who take more risks with new designers.
Canadian women prefer to stand out and express their personality through their outfits. As their fashion industry is small and resources are limited, women also buy clothes from local famous brands in order to avoid constantly wearing the same pieces.
Canadian street style includes outfits that prioritize comfort and versatility with edgy accessories. Solid colors seem to overrule patterns, while flat sneakers and boots appear to be the norm.
According to a few Canadian bloggers, Canadians have to get pretty imaginative most of the year because of such intense winters. Canadians rarely opt for the shorter winter coats which Americans often prefer and that is perhaps the biggest difference between Canadian and American customers.
Canadian designers say they prefer functionality. They want jackets that they have designed to be closet staples that people will rely on and wear for a long time.
However, the summer style isn’t all that different between Canada and the United States.
